Patrick grew up in Sharpsburg, GA and came to know Jesus and Jennifer at West Georgia College through the ministry of Campus Outreach. After serving in the Air Force, he lived for 12 years and served as a Youth Pastor and a Family Pastor. Greg grew up in Macon and began following Jesus about 14 years ago at the age of 18 when he started college at Mercer University. Though he had grown up in the church, it was not until college that the gospel really began to bear fruit in his life. Greg was involved with the planning and planting of New City Church downtown and has served in various capacities as needed, including leading and playing in the worship bands, serving with the family ministry, helping teach the Gospel Christianity class, serving on the leadership team, and leading a missional community group (MC). He and his MC serve the residents of the Macon Rescue Mission, where Greg preaches once a month. He began taking classes at Reformed Theological Seminary (Atlanta) in February 2009 to further pursue his love for God’s Word and to be better equipped for serving NCCd.
Greg and Wendy have enjoyed 10 years of marriage, and have two sons, Elijah (5) and Asa (3). Greg works for Mercer Engineering Research Center in Warner Robins as an aerospace engineer. A more complete testimony can be found at The Carpenters Project.
